MJC – Genesee and Lookout Mountain feature an easy I-70 commute to metro Denver and are considered part of Golden. Both are served by public water and sewer. Homes in Genesee are generally newer and priced higher.
MEN - North Evergreen, near I-70, is considered a neighborhood area with lots ranging in size from ¼ to 5 acres. Public water & sewer are offered in many areas and the price of homes typically is higher than in most areas..
MES - South Evergreen, between Evergreen and Conifer, is generally more spread out. Lots range in size from 2 to 10 acres. Most homes are on wells and septic, and there is easy access to Denver via I-70 or Hwy 285.
MCP - Conifer, considered more rural, runs along the Hwy 285 corridor. Most homes are on wells and septic, lots range from 2 to 10 acres, and property values are slightly lower than North & South Evergreen. However, there are beautiful new developments offering high-end properties with acreage.
MCC - Clear Creek County, is west of North Evergreen. There is reasonable access to Denver via I-70. Lots sizes range from 1 to 5 acres, wells and septics are the norm. Home prices are run a notch below the North Evergreen area.
MPE - Park County, to the west of Conifer, with a slightly longer commute to Denver, offers the area’s best values. Lot sizes range from 2 to 40 acres, wells and septic are the rule, and there is generally a rural ambiance.
